Learn morePhysiotherapy questions
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist in Abbotsford?
No. Physiotherapists in BC are primary care practitioners, so you can book directly. Some extended health plans ask for a doctor's note before reimbursing, so check your policy.
How much does physiotherapy cost?
An initial assessment is $110 and a follow-up visit is $100. Concussion and vestibular, IMS and spinal decompression visits are priced separately. Approved ICBC and WorkSafeBC claims have no user fee. See our pricing page for the full list.
What happens at the first appointment?
A full history, an assessment of how you move, a plain-language explanation of what we found, and treatment the same day. You leave with a plan and your first exercises. Plan for about an hour.
Do you bill my extended health plan directly?
Yes, for most major providers including Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life and Green Shield. See the full list on our pricing page.
