From physio school to South Fraser Way
Nitin Trehan and Nitin Ajmeria went through physiotherapy school together in India. They both ended up on the other side of the world in the Fraser Valley, and they have worked alongside each other for more than ten years since.
Nitin Trehan has practised since 2009. He holds a post-graduate qualification in advanced manual therapy, is FCAMPT certified and a certified Gunn IMS practitioner. Nitin Ajmeria has practised since 2015, with a focus on concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation and TMJ.
Leading Health is the clinic they built together in Abbotsford. It grew out of a simple observation: people were being sent across town from one practitioner to the next, and nobody was looking at the whole person. We wanted one place on South Fraser Way where physiotherapy, kinesiology, massage therapy, chiropractic care and clinical counselling sit under one roof, so that if the first thing we try is not the right thing, the next practitioner is ten steps away.
Our motivation has not changed: helping people regain mobility, reduce pain and get back to living well, through evidence-based care in a place where they feel supported, heard and confident in their recovery. Everyone who walks through our door should feel seen.
In 2023 the same two of us opened a second clinic in Chilliwack, Chilliwack Physio Hub, built on the same idea. And the person who shaped that idea more than anyone is Niti Ajmeria, Nitin's sister, who reminds us every day that a life is worth living fully, whatever its condition.
Together we can achieve anything, but the real motivation comes from within you.
